Saba C-Transport, N.V. is a vessel agency embarking on a journey of continuous expansion. SCT serves as the local agent for Blues & Blues, LTD., which manages the Makana Ferry Service and cargo vessels. Additionally, SCT represents several small cruise lines, super-yachts, and various vessel agencies.
The available position is for an administrative assistant who can carry out various tasks while delivering courteous, prompt, and efficient responses to inquiries related to ferry, shipping, and agency services. Candidates must be able to work at two locations: the main office in Windwardside and the office in Fort Bay.
Ticket agents are responsible for arranging and confirming travel arrangements for passengers.
Daily responsibilities encompass the following tasks: selling tickets, providing passengers with information about their travel arrangements, notifying customers of schedule changes, and calculating ticket prices. Additionally, you will handle customer inquiries, guide passengers to their designated boarding areas, announce arrivals and departures, and check passengers' baggage.
Requirements:

Clerical Skills - Proficiency in administrative and clerical tasks, which includes composing and responding to emails, managing a booking system, working with spreadsheets, organizing files, handling bookkeeping, and performing various office responsibilities.

Technology Skills – Knowledge of iMac OS, QuickBooks, Microsoft Office, Asycuda World, and various social media platforms.

Customer Skills – It is essential to support customers by accurately addressing their inquiries, clarifying information, offering service recommendations, and affectively addressing any obstacles that may arise for our clients.
Responsibilities include:

Responding to all inquiries through phone, email, WhatsApp, and social media.

Managing ferry reservation systems and processing bookings and tickets for travel.

Checking in and out vessels at the port and overseeing all clearance formalities for passengers, crew, and cargo.

Issuing invoices, statements, and collecting incoming payments for various departments.

Coordinating with port authorities, immigration, customs, ground operators, and ship personnel.

Computing, recording, and proofreading data and other information, such as records or reports.

Organizing and facilitating shore excursions for super yachts or cruise ship port days.

Welcoming guests and crew while providing necessary agency services.
